Pest Control FAQ

These are the questions El Paso callers ask us most. If yours isn't here, just call. For the longer version of how the line works, see how our service works.

Questions and Answers

So who actually comes out to my house?

An independent, licensed pest control company that serves your area. We answer the phone and put you in touch. We don't do treatments ourselves.

How do I know they're licensed?

Ask them. In Texas, pest control licensing goes through the Texas Department of Agriculture, and in New Mexico through the New Mexico Department of Agriculture.

How much is this going to cost me?

That's up to the company you talk to. It depends on the pest, the house and how big the problem is. They'll quote it on the call or after an inspection.

Is there a guarantee?

Not from us. Any warranty or guarantee comes from the company doing the work, so ask them what they offer.

What hours can I call?

The line is answered during normal business hours.

Do you cover my part of town?

All of El Paso, plus Horizon City, Socorro, San Elizario, Canutillo and Sunland Park, New Mexico. See every area we serve.

How can I tell if I have termites?

Mud tubes on the slab edge or walls, swarmers at a window, little piles of wings, wood that sounds hollow. An inspection confirms it. More on termite treatment in El Paso.

What kind of scorpion keeps showing up in my bathroom?

Nine times out of ten, the striped bark scorpion: tan, with two dark stripes down its back. The scorpion prevention guide covers keeping them out.

Can I call about a rental or a small business?

Yes. Tell us about the property when you call so you hear from a company that handles that kind of job.

Is anybody going to put poison down around my kids and pets?

Bait should only ever go in locked, tamper-resistant stations, never scattered loose. Ask the tech what they plan to use. See how rodent removal in El Paso usually works.
